Girbau demostrate laundry efficiency in Clean 2011

May 20, 2011 - PRLog -- Vic (Barcelona), May 2011 .- In this year’s Clean trade fair (6th to 9th of June), to be held in Las Vegas, at Stand No. 2352, Girbau will demonstrate the latest advances introduced in their equipment, with special emphasis on the quest for savings and energy efficiency in the laundry.
At a 1,700 square meter stand coordinated together with its subsidiary in the United States, Continental Girbau Inc., those attending the fair can learn about the latest developments in each of the group’s divisions.

The commercial division will present the PB band flatwork ironer, which incorporates the best of 20 years’ experience in the PS ironer market, but with notable improvements in terms of efficiency and performance.
Girbau will also present the new 6 MG series washers, high-speed hard mount machines, the Logi Pro Series 6 control system for washers, which gives laundries the possibility of a more professional control, and the new features incorporated in the Coin control system for coin-op washing machines that extend the possibilities for this sector.

Girbau’s industrial division will present the Ecotunnel, which will allow a saving of up to 80% in water consumption and 70% in energy costs.  In addition, attendees will also have the opportunity of seeing a complete flatwork ironing system made up of a DRF feeder, a 1200 PC-120 flatwork ironer, a FL-Lite folder and an AP-Lite stacker - all new generation models.
There will also be demonstrations of the new BMT (Batch Washer Manager Tool), a new control and data acquisition program for the TBS-50 washing system that improves the overall management of the batch washer, press and dryers.

According to the Girbau Group’s commercial, marketing and services Vice-president, Toni Rubiés, the participation in Clean “will demonstrate Girbau’s contribution to making laundries more efficient, sustainable and cost-effective. We have improved our equipments' performance with the common goal of minimising fuel consumption and providing a better management of laundries."
Rubiés added that this year “We will also see the results of the work done by the whole Continental team, which has succeeded in placing the subsidiary in a strong position in the American market"
