Authors and Industry Experts Susan Carr & Maria Piscopo to be Featured Speakers for Clarion Call II

May 19, 2011 - PRLog -- Authors and Industry Experts Susan Carr and Maria Piscopo will be featured speakers in an upcoming world wide online telesummit for commercial photographers. Clarion Call II, an incredible gathering of true photo industry brainpower will take place on June 10, 2011 from 12:00pm to 8:00pm EST.  Photographer mentor and portfolio consultant, Selina Maitreya will host the series.

Seven exceptional presenters will discuss pricing, negotiating and licensing commercial assignment photography, three relevant and critical topics to commercial shooters.

Susan Carr,  author of The Art and Business of Photography will focus her information around pricing architectural, corporate and editorial assignments  in her talk, Eye on the Price.  Susan will examine assignment pricing and unravel the confusion over licensing with her keen insights and vast experience.  Susan's photographs are included in corporate and private collections, most notably the Pfizer Corporation and the Museum of Contemporary Photography. A past president of ASMP, she is now ASMP’s national education director and has long been dedicated to the advocacy and education of fellow photographers.

Agent and Consultant, Maria Piscopo will provide photographers in every discipline close-up insight into negotiating from value not from price.  She will explain how to set the stage for promoting abilities, talent, and experience as the true value to consider when pricing assignments. Her information will focus on how to negotiate your way into a job and out of any tough situation. Ms. Piscopo is the author of The Photographer's Guide to Marketing and Self-Promotion and a columnist for Communication Arts.  She currently is touring North America holding negotiation seminars for commercial assignment photographers.
