AE3Q Encourages Community To Save Energy, Save Money, and Help Fight Global Warming with ENERGY STAR®
By: AE3Q

May 19, 2011 - PRLog -- Mesa, AZ - AE3Q today announced that it has helped protect the environment by reducing 380,245 pounds of greenhouse gas emissions for future generations by encouraging individuals to take the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) ENERGY STAR Pledge. In doing so, AE3Q has met its goal and fulfilled a meaningful commitment to EPA’s Change the World, Start with ENERGY STAR campaign.

The Change the World, Start with ENERGY STAR campaign includes a growing community of corporations, utilities, manufacturers, individuals, and countless others who have made a firm commitment to change the world through pledging to take actions that save energy, save money, and help fight global warming. If every American household took part in the pledge, we would save more than 110 billion kilowatt hours (kWh) of electricity, more than $18 billion in annual energy costs, and prevent greenhouse gases equivalent to the emissions of more than 18 million cars.

AE3Q committed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by inspiring “their community,” “their constituents,” “their employees,” etc.] to take energy-saving steps at home. In meeting this goal, AE3Q has helped to save more than 207,420 kWh of energy and $29,515 in energy costs.

“We are excited that our actions contributed to the fight against global warming,” said Melissa, VP of Marketing. “Together we can all make a difference, and we are proud that so many people in our community have committed to do their part.”

“Taking simple, everyday actions that save energy can change the world,“ said Ann Bailey of EPA. “AE3Q’s continued efforts to encourage others to take the ENERGY STAR Pledge have proven to be an invaluable contribution to preserve energy resources and help protect our environment.”

About ENERGY STAR
ENERGY STAR was introduced by EPA in 1992 as a voluntary, market-based partnership to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through energy efficiency. Today, the ENERGY STAR label can be found on more than 50 different kinds of products as well as new homes and buildings. Products that have earned the ENERGY STAR designation prevent greenhouse gas emissions by meeting strict energy-efficiency specifications set by the government. In 2007, Americans, with the help of ENERGY STAR, saved $16 billion on their energy bills while reducing greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to those of 27 million vehicles.
