Beachcandy Swimwear Partners With The Miss Newport Beach 2011 Pageant

The one-of-a-kind swimwear shop, which opened in March 2011 on Pacific Coast Highway in Corona Del Mar, has captured the attention of locals and resort-goers alike..  BeachCandy was created by Brit B., a local OC resident.  Her mission is to make the experience of shopping for swimwear both fun and personalized.  She begins by designing suits made from high-quality luxurious fabrics that work with a woman’s body for fantastic fit and support― while also making the most of her individual shape.  Each client has the option of purchasing a ready-made suit off the rack, or having a suit custom made by Brit especially for them.  Brit B. and her staff take their time with each client in order to make sure their needs are met and that they feel comfortable throughout the process. Each BeachCandy suit  is finished with dazzling Swarovski crystals to add just the right amount of  high-fashion elegance. . The Beach Candy retail store also carries hand-selected cover-ups, sarongs, handbags, jewelry and sandals from around the globe to accessorize each BeachCandy swimsuit.

The organizers behind the Miss Newport Beach Pageant are thrilled to be able to partner with Brit B. and BeachCandy because it will give this year’s pageant a fresh and updated look to the swimsuit portion of the pageant.  The contestants are already very excited and looking forward to wearing the suits, as well as participating in the special upcoming media and community events scheduled in conjunction with BeachCandy’s support of the pageant.  

The Miss Newport Beach Pageant was developed to promote health, fitness, and inner beauty among women and young ladies, while producing positive role models for the community The program aims to  foster self-confidence, self-worth, moral, academic and social support for our youth, and to publicly recognize women who have achieved personal, professional and community goals.  It is the goal of the pageant to provide the contestants, attendees, sponsors and charity with a positive experience to be remembered for a lifetime.
