Tenth Episode of Action on Film Channel Features Works of Renowned Filmmakers

May 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, CA -- This Saturday night at 2:30am, NBC will be broadcasting the tenth episode of the Action on Film Channel -  a show dedicated to bringing viewers the most exclusive, short-burst action entertainment found in film. This weekend's episode will feature Dinos Gregorius' "Eventus" and Michael David Lynch's "Burden." AOF Channel creator, Del Weston, and this week's host, Anthony DeLongis, will be featured interviewing renowned filmmaker Michael Givens and stunt coordinator Cole McKay.

Michael David Lynch's multiple award-winning, sci-fi short, "Burden" is the story of Calik, a super-powered 'watcher' who was sent to Earth to observe its inhabitants. After being informed of an impending alien invasion, Calik is torn between his sworn duty to flee and his innate sense to stay and protect.

AOF Channel producer, Karen Bullis, says, "the amazing thing about Burden is that it is the incredible result of a national collaboration of visual effect specialists led by Mr. Lynch himself. Burden's superhero theme against the beautiful Chicago backdrop is so seamlessly presented, it's hard to believe that the VFX creators were miles apart when they made this film."

Greek filmmaker Dinos Gregoriou's film, "Eventus" is the story of two brothers who are fighting for the love of the same woman. The short film is packed with high-speed fight scenes, little dialogue, and a gunfight that may just jeopardize the very thing they are fighting for.

Bullis goes on to say, "the AOF team is excited to bring viewers such a vastly global example of talented filmmaking... from Dinos' Cyprus-based short, to Lynch's global sci-fi compilation, this episode truly showcases our mission to bring viewers the best of the best - not just locally, but globally."

Del Weston's celebrity interviews and the two short films will be featured on the May 21st episode of the Action on Film Channel on NBC Late Night at 2:30am.
