Purple™ Announces a Faster, Easier Way to Make Calls with Anywhere Contact List

Purple™ Announces a Faster, Easier Way to Make Calls with Anywhere Contact List With Purple’s Anywhere Contact List, YOU’RE in control, no more remote!

PRLog - May 18, 2011 - ROCKLIN, CALIF., MAY 17, 2011 – Purple Communications™, Inc. (OTC: PRPL) (“Purple”), a leading provider of innovative communications solutions and services for people who are deaf or hard of hearing, has created a faster, easier way to make calls with Purple‟s Anywhere Contact List.

“At Purple, we are all about „easy‟ and choice, and understand many of our customers use several different VRS options in addition to Purple VRS products and services,” said Norman Chan, director of outreach. “Our Anywhere Contact List eliminates click, click, clicking the remote down to find a phone number for people who still use a VP-200®.”

By using Purple.tv through a VP-200, callers just need to give the name of the person they want to call to the video interpreter (VI) instead of using their remote control to scroll through an often long list of contacts – a considerably faster and easy way to make a call.

“Just the other day, a VP-200 user told me he had to call somebody but he couldn‟t remember the person‟s number,” said Vice President of Outreach Mark Bella. “I asked him if he knew the person‟s name, and he said, „Of course,‟ so I told him about our Anywhere Contact List. He tried it and told me he was amazed at how fast and easy it was. He loves it and I know other VRS users will, too.”

For more information, visit http://purple.us/anywhere/, or call Purple Customer Care at 877-885-3172.

Purple’s Anywhere Contact List Additional Benefits Include
Privacy: VI‟s do not have access to your Anywhere Contact List and only see matches to the name you give them when making a call.
Make Calls with Names NOT Numbers: Users only provide the name of the person he/she wants to call instead of click, click, clicking down the remote control to find the person.
Never lose your information: If your VP-200 breaks or is not working, your contacts will not be lost.
