Access Information Management Announces New Operation in the Southwest and Midwest Operation Service

May 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Access Information Management, leading provider of records management storage and destruction services for hardcopy and electronic records, is proud to announce the expansion of business operations in the US Southwest and Midwest with the acquisition of DocuSafe of Phoenix, Inc. and DocuSafe of Madison, Inc. Integrating the DocuSafe business expands Access operations to include new facilities in Phoenix, Arizona and increases storage capacity and enhances the service capabilities of Access’ operations in the Madison, Wisconsin area.

Under the Access name, the Arizona and Wisconsin locations will offer clients full service records and Information management (RIM) service support, including hardcopy storage and management, secure destruction services, vital records protection and document imaging and digital storage.

The integration of the full-service Phoenix business represents a strategic footprint expansion into another state capital for Access.  Robert Cummings, General Manager of Access California and Arizona regions, will manage the Phoenix operation. The daily operation of the full-service Phoenix facility will continue under Mike "Woody" Colebank.

The acquired Madison operation will also support a mix of hard copy record storage and services, media vaulting, digital solutions and destruction services; including a plant-based document destruction and shredding operation which increases the service capacity of the existing Access document and product destruction and recycling offering in Wisconsin.  The merger of Access’ Madison operation and DocuSafe of Madison, Inc. makes Access the dominant RIM provider in the Madison market.  Access Madison Branch Manager, Thom Dahlen, will oversee the local integration of the two operations and run the merged operation.

Clients can expect significant operating and geographic synergies and continued premiere service support from the merging of the two operations.
