Black Mountain Productions and Green Living Nevada are organizing and hosting the “Indie Music Fest” in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, May 21, 2011 from 11 am to 11 pm at Sunset Park (2601 East Sunset Road, Las Vegas, NV 89120). The all day music showcase and festival is intended to promote national bands, green living, and build awareness of various social change causes and health initiatives. Other festivities taking place throughout the day include: “Indie Fest Run (5k)” and “Indie Fest Walk (1k),” to benefit, Habitat For Humanity, custom car show hosted by Las Vegas Cruisin' Association, video game lounge powered by Games 2U, sports activities supported by Adrenaline- Unleashed and The Las Vegas 51 baseball league.
Registration for the “Indie Fest Run/Walk starts at 7 am and the run/walk begins at 8 am sharp. A silent auction will take place in support of Susan G Komen, and representatives will be on site for Habitat For Humanity, Quicksilver Foundation, Weight Watchers and Three Square – Feeding America as well. VIP guests will have access to the “Indie Cause Lounge” throughout the day and private events for special guests and talent will take place at : Downtown Vintage Guitars, Blue Martini and CatHouse @ Luxor. About Indie Music Fest:
The Indie Music Fest is a music showcase and festival intended to build awareness of independent musicians, bands, environmental initiatives and charitable causes. Black Mountain Productions Inc. accepts Call for Entries from October to April from bands who are not represented. Bands have an opportunity to market and promote their merchandise as well as secure new fans for their databases. During the day, bands perform in front of a selected group of music industry professionals and judges who will select five bands to receive music resource packages valued from $2,500- $5,000.
