May 17, 2011 - PRLog -- Animal advocates don't often hang from the rafters of small, local theaters to promote their causes, but that’s exactly where Kyla Duffy, Director of Up For Pups, will be at 7:00 pm on July 30th. At least, that’s where she will be during the aerial dance portion of Don’t Kill Bill: A Dog Lover’s Night Out, a lively theater “experience” she’s performing at the Rochester Community Theatre in Rochester, MN.

Don’t Kill Bill is an informative stage show including multimedia storytelling of heart-pounding rescue tales and aerial acrobatics set to beautiful music inspired by rescued dogs. It is focused on raising awareness about puppy mills (large scale dog breeding facilities where dogs are typically kept outdoors in chicken wire cages their whole lives) and encouraging people to get involved with rescue organizations. Proceeds from the show will be used to further Up For Pups animal advocacy efforts.

This show is a fundraiser for Camp Companion and other local rescue organizations, which will be present in the lobby to answer any questions about volunteer opportunities and discuss their adoptable pets.
