Residents of Windham Terrace Community Visit Candia Vineyards

May 17, 2011 - PRLog -- Residents of Windham Terrace, an assisted living community located in Windham, NH, recently visited the Candia Vineyards, a boutique wine vineyard, to sample some of the select wines and gourmet chocolates of the area. The residents purchased their favorite wines of the day and brought some back to share with family and friends.

“Our residents enjoy taking day trips to various places around New Hampshire,” said Melanie Purcell, activities director, Windham Terrace. “Candia Vineyards made for a fun and educational outing as wine maker Bob Dabrowski taught us how to grow vines and the process of caring for them. We have some true wine connoisseurs, and they greatly enjoyed sampling some of the vineyard’s finest selections.”

Candia Vineyards is located in the town of Candia and is situated on some of the earliest farmed land in New Hampshire. It is known as a boutique vineyard that specializes in fine table wines from grapes. Their products, processes, and labels are meant to convey their dedication to hard work, quality, history, and romance. The recent visit was part of an ongoing personal enrichment program to provide an abundance of active lifestyle options to residents.
