Oliver III, chairman, Bryan Cave Strategies. “Seeds of Change” is designed to give people an opportunity to connect with others who think passionately about our community and of our world-class assets like the Danforth Plant Science Center, said Jim Johnson, chair, Danforth Leadership Council. “It is a privilege to have Richard Longworth as our speaker and share his perspective on the impact of globalization on the Midwest.” Seeds of Change Speaker Richard Longworth is a senior fellow at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and former Distinguished Visiting Scholar at DePaul University. He is the author of the book, Caught in the Middle: America's Heartland in the Age of Globalism, published in 2008 by Bloomsbury USA, now out in paperback.
