The after sale service comparison between the website Lightake and Pickegg.

May 17, 2011 - PRLog -- Actually, I write this article not for making a real comparison. I just want to express my anger and disbelief about lightake. And also, I know there may be cases, an accident happened in that company, so you can still choose to trust the one you recognized.
Below is the description of my only purchasing experience from lighake:
On April 2nd, 2011, I ordered a ''T2000 WiFi Dual SIM Standby Qwerty Keypad Touch Screen TV Java FM Quad-band Cell Phone'' from the website. It cost me £87, and it was intended to be a Birthday present for my sister.
We had bad weather during that period of time and originally blamed it for no delivery. However, we started to suspect something was wrong, when others item I had ordered arrived, yet the phone did not arrive.
We've been in contact with 'Freya' from Lightake about the issue and they have kept saying the item was sent. I have screenshot proof that the item tracking number reveals the item has NOT even left China.
We have demanded a refund and they will not give it to us. They keep telling us to 'Wait' for it, but why should we wait any longer when the item hasn't even left China yet.

They keep making up excuses, blaming holidays, and China's Postal Services. However I have bought several Google Android tablet PCs from PickEgg (http://www.pickegg.com/) before, and they have ALL arrived in less than 3 weeks. During the Spring Festival, PickEgg also delayed my order; however, they send me a email at the first for explaining the exact reason. What is more important, in the end of the mail, Pickegg asked if I would like to wait for the delaying delivery orders or just get my money back? I choose to wait for your order, just because their genuineness and honesty. While the lightake, I have been waiting 5 weeks now for this one item.
I recently discovered, on the lightake website forum, there are many other buyers have NOT received their items! I do not know how the website explains all these delaying reasons to the other customers; I just think the reason which gave to me is just an excuse. I hope I am just the only one who has a very bad luck.
