National Algae Association Announces Commercial Opportunities

The National Algae Association recently launched a Commercial Opportunities page on its website to further its mission to fast-track commercialization of algae.
May 16, 2011 - PRLog -- In making this announcement, NAA Executive Director Barry Cohen said, "I've been getting a lot of inquiries from throughout the algae supply channel and from the investment community about real commercial opportunities, and I thought it would be quicker and easier to be able to see what's available and what's needed to help expand the markets for biocrude and the various co-products.  The pieces of the algae production puzzle are coming together, and National Algae Association is doing its part to make it happen".

National Algae Association will provide another collaborative environment at BARD Holding on May 19, 2011, when speakers from  NOAH, Drexel University, CBO Financial, University of New Hampshire, Millipore, BARD-ABS (JV), Aztek Solutions, Algae Venture Systems, Glen Mills, OriginOil, OpenAlgae and Solutions4CO2 will discuss their successes.  Fluid Imaging Technologies will  be imaging algae oil, providing  statistics, images and enumeration, and the day will end with a tour of BARD's facilities
