The symposium’s seminar track is as follows:
Ø Shahriyour Andaz, MD, FACS, director of thoracic oncology, will discuss lung cancer in women, its effects and the newest developments in surgery and treatment options;
Ø George Autz, MD, medical director of Complete Women’s Imaging, P.C., will provide a comprehensive review on advances in breast cancer screening including digital screening and diagnostic mammography technology, ultrasound and MRI of the breast;
Ø Jeannine Gismondi, RN, gynecologic oncology, will focus on women’s overall health and the advances in surgery options for gynecologic oncology patients;
Ø Vincent Reid, MD, associate surgeon, Surgical Oncology Program, will speak about the advances in the detection and treatment of colon cancer in women.
Attendees of the symposium will also be treated to a continental breakfast as well as hands-on testing of the da Vinci® Surgical System.
