Rider training staff with over 50 years coaching experience is lined up for Ducati Revs New England

May 17, 2011 - PRLog -- The Penguin Roadracing School’s Ducati Rev’s New England event will feature the nation’s most accomplished rider training staff.  The school’s lead trainers have over 50 years of training experience and earned over 175 motorcycle competition titles.  The lead staff along with a score of handpicked instructors will be on hand for the July 11, 2011 event providing students with an abundance of individual instruction and special off-track clinics.

The lead trainers include Eric and Jeff Wood, sons of school founder Jerry Wood, who are staples in the Northeast racing scene.  They hold over 40 CSS, FUSA, ASRA and WERA national titles as well as countless Loudon Road Race Series (LRRS) championships. Scott Greenwood and Rick Doucette solidify the staff’s expertise at New Hampshire Motor Speedway as they have over 80 LRRS titles between them as well as several national titles. Recent addition Shane Narbonne began AMA racing in 2006 and competed in the AMA Superbike championship in 2010 with the Celtic Racing Team. Shane also holds several LRRS championships.

The school’s rider training program includes written information,  classroom instruction and plenty of track time to practice new techniques.  Additionally, the Ducati Revs New England event will include a dirt clinic where students can “feel the edge” in a series of figure eight and switchback routines using the schools specially equipped mini motard motorcycle.   Both novice and experienced motorcycle riders often have breakthroughs with these change of pace exercises as well simply having a whole lot of fun.
