RecruitMilitary to Present Civilian Jobs/Opportunities Expo for Veterans in Jacksonville on June 16

May 16, 2011 - PRLog -- Cincinnati, OH -- RecruitMilitary, a military-to-civilian recruiting firm, will present a free civilian employment, business-ownership, and education Opportunity Expo for job seekers who have military backgrounds at EverBank Field, home of the Jacksonville Jaguars, on Thursday, June 16. RecruitMilitary is inviting veterans who already have civilian work experience, men and women who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life, members of the National Guard and reserves, military spouses, and other military family members. The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m.
   
The company expects more than 35 employers, franchisors, and educational institutions to reserve exhibitor booths at the Expo. Already signed up are A Buyer’s Choice, Bank of America, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Chancellor University, Columbia Southern University, DeVry University, FastTrain, First Command Financial Planning, G4S Secure Solutions (USA), Geo Group Inc., Grand Canyon University, Homeland Security Solutions Inc., ICDC College, Lender Processing Services – LPS, Lockheed Martin Corporation, Merchant’s Tire and National Tire & Battery, Military Sealift Command, the National Veterans Employment Program (NVEP) of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, Prudential Insurance Company, St. Augustine University, Sanford Brown, Southern Career College, Strayer University, Team Industrial Services Inc., Troy University, UEI College, United Rentals Inc., Walgreens, and World Inspection Network International.

RecruitMilitary (www.recruitmilitary.com) will produce the Expo in cooperation with The American Legion (http://www.legion.org), an association of veterans who served during times of war. The Legion has 2.4 million members in nearly 14,000 posts throughout the world. Congress chartered the association in 1919.

RecruitMilitary has scheduled 35 additional Expos for 2011.
