New Author Produces Fictive Story of Bible Writers

Parker’s first book in the Resurrection series takes place between downtown Manhattan and Vatican City. Details of the novel include an account of the ongoing relationship between biotechnician Clark Ravensdale, Bancroft Enterprises, and their desire to maintain a high competitive status in pharmaceutical market. Hopefully by raising six key New Testament figures, the company hopes to eliminate death, seeing that the new technology eliminates fear and the need to prepare.  

Although existent conflictions arise between them and the church, further complexities within the company alienate everyone from each other throughout. Since the timing of the disciple’s return, the formation of alliances carries throughout the book. When these New Testament writers become adjusted to living the modern routine, they not only discover how society turns for the worst, they also learn of a growing hostility in the modern atmosphere. Together they journey through different aspects of life, answering questions regarding science, faith, and tolerance.
