Action on Film Festival Names Sheraton Pasadena as Host Hotel

May 13, 2011 - PRLog -- Pasadena, CA -- Due to its unmatched hospitality and generosity, the Sheraton Pasadena will, for the third year, act as host to AOF's July film festival.  The annual event, gathering filmmakers, writers, fans, and stars alike, will take place over the course of eight days in the heart of old-town Pasadena, California.

The Action on Film Festival is a place for independent filmmakers and writers to showcase their hard work and dedication to film. No stranger to success, the festival has attracted such notable stars as David Carradine, Bill Duke, John Savage, Michael Madson, Deborah Cara Unger, and many others. Anticipating more than 600 filmmakers at this year's week-long event in July, the Sheraton Pasadena, with its exceptional service, will serve as host hotel.

NBC's Action on Film Television show creator and festival director, Del Weston, says the Sheraton will be 'home to a number of our events, seminars, and our world famous writers' award show and dinner.
