TV Choice w/c 14 May Blue’s Channel Popping

Reformed boyband Blue are aiming to become the first British winners of The Eurovision Song Contest in 14 years with I Can and they tell TV Choice how the competition will boost their career.

May 13, 2011 - PRLog -- ‘We thought it was a great opportunity for us to make a comeback,’ says Duncan James, about the band who released their first single in 2001, then split in 2005 before reforming two years ago.

‘It’s our tenth anniversary this year. We were a big, established band in Europe and it’s the biggest TV show in the continent that goes out to an audience of 125 million.’

Also in this week’s TV Choice, Suranne Jones tells us about starring in Doctor Who, and Graeme Hawley reflects on his Coronation Street exit as killer John Stape. Fearne Cotton sets the mood for Radio 1’s Big Weekend, which includes an appearance by Lady Gaga, while Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding is Dating In The Dark’s new presenter. Meanwhile, Al Murray reveals more about the Pub Landlord’s new quiz show Compete For The Meat where the top prize is a frozen chicken!

In the soaps, Kat confronts Ronnie in EastEnders, and Kevin’s hospitalised following an accident in Coronation Street. David begs the missing Amy to return in Emmerdale, and Jacqui proposes to Rhys in Hollyoaks. Two new trainees start at The Mill in Doctors. After being stood up by Mark, Kate agrees to a date with Kyle in Neighbours, and Liam vows to give up drugs in Home And Away.

There is also a fantastic prize package of a 40in Sony Bravia LCD HD TV, a Sony PlayStation 3, a Canon digital SLR camera, and a Spy Games Experience to be won in this week’s great TV Choice competition.
