PRLog (Press Release) -
May 12, 2011 - Hyperspots’ clickable video technology is all over Reed Krakoff’s Spring 2011 Collection Runway Show, the first of a very much-welcomed collaboration between the two companies. It is the first time Reed Krakoff’s viewers can now click on anything inside the video and interact with the content.
“We are always looking at new angles”, remarked Douglas Kaplan, International Sales Manager (Hyperspots)
. ”This time we allow users to view a real fashion show and make choices. They can click on anything of interest to find out more or simply buy something they may like”. Kaplan was quick to add, “This is not a shop-only technology. At the end of the day, Hyperspots provides clients with interestgraphics™
reports, which we create by tracking everything the viewer clicks on, ultimately revealing not only their true interests and clicking habits but allowing for extensive market research and trend identification”
.
This patented technology is developed and owned by US company, Sherpa Technologies. The Hyperspots system renders images and videos clickable on the Internet without disrupting the viewing experience. Hyperspots also makes it easy for viewers to share the video virally through Facebook.
Alain Teale, Marketing VP. (Hyperspots)
concluded, “It would be fair to say that it’s a very exciting time at Hyperspots as we look forward to more runway projects related to the upcoming fashion shows for the Fall/Winter season, amongst other things.”
