Duane MacInnis founded what later became MEA Forensic in Vancouver in 1982. Over the ensuing 29 years, Duane played an important role in shaping the firms’ personality, philosophy and dedication to science.

Craig Wilkinson, Principal, joined the firm in 1999 and is based in MEA’s Toronto office.  His practice includes investigations of automobile collisions, event data recorders, pedestrian collisions and nighttime visibility. He also conducts property and premises investigations related to slip, trip, and fall events. Craig is actively involved in the research performed by MEA Forensic and has published peer-reviewed papers on the accuracy of event data recorders, low speed crash testing and the performance capabilities of snowmobiles.

According to President, Gunter Siegmund, “We have gained immensely from the perspective and dedication of Duane MacInnis. His vision and energy have helped shape the growing international organization we have become.”   Dr. Siegmund went on to say, “We are excited to welcome Dr. Gardiner and Mr. Wilkinson to the firm’s Partnership.  They represent a new generation of engineers who greatly strengthen our existing partnership and enable us to continue helping our clients understand the science behind their cases.”
