Author Celebrates Release of Unabridged Edition of Book with a Week of Online Events For Readers

Therefore, it came as no surprise to fans when the author recently announced his "A Week of Nightfall" online event on his official website.

In honor of the Amazon Kindle release of the unabridged version of Andrew Wolter's novel, NIGHTFALL, Wolter will be celebrating with readers by offering a week of events in which fans can learn more about the upcoming release and participate in daily giveaways.

Beginning Monday May 23, 2011,  the author will be offering a daily sneak peek into the world of his latest book to arrive as an Amazon Kindle title. Some of the scheduled daily events will include the release of the book trailer of NIGHTFALL and a Q&A style interview performed via Twitter. Additionally, a Kindle digital version of Wolter's NIGHTFALL will be given away each day to fans who share the author's daily posts on Twitter and Facebook. The week of events leads up to the release of the unabridged edition of NIGHTFALL to Amazon Kindle's catalog on Friday, May 27, 2011.

"I wanted a way to commemorate the release of this title to Kindle and show readers what they can expect from this uncensored version of the novel. Most importantly, I just wanted a reason to celebrate with my readers," says Andrew Wolter in a recent blog interview.

NIGHTFALL was originally published in 2008 as a Collector's Hardcover Edition by Shadow City Press. Concerned with the manufacturing costs involved with publishing a trade edition (specifically, the suggested retail price to consumers of such a lengthy novel), the press decided against a paperback release of the title.
