Donald J Pliner will be the exclusive footwear brand for the MISO organization, providing shoes for all upcoming national and world premiere concerts and high-profile events.
This partnership will also benefit Donald and Lisa Pliner’s personal charitable organization, Peace for the Children Foundation, which gives back to children in need.
The two organizations will again come together this summer during the first-annual “Tune for Peace” summer camp, benefiting 25 children who have been abandoned and neglected. During the program, Donald J Pliner will teach the children about fashion designing, and help them design a shoe to be part of his fall 2012 collection.
“This project is the result of a mutual concern of both institutions to give our city a new face. Our city is buoying with new artistic happenings. We want everyone to know that Miami has more to offer than just South Beach and shopping centers,” Maestro Eduardo Marturet said.
