Mamma Mia! ‘The Balancing Act’ on Lifetime Gets a Taste of Italy this May with Bella Italia®

Italian foods importer Agrusa, Inc. recently completed filming for O2 Media’s hit morning TV show “The Balancing Act.”  The segment, which features Sergio Massa, President of the famous Italian exporter Agritalia, will air as part of the show’s “My Cuisine” series in May on Lifetime Television.  Massa prepares a veritable smorgasbord of Italian delights and gives viewers a lesson in the makings of traditional pasta.

According to Massa, the best pastas in the world are made with all natural ingredients.  Agritalia uses semolina that is high in protein to make their Bella Italia® pastas for a more pleasing taste and a better “al dente” texture.  They also use Durham wheat, which is rich in naturally occurring vitamins, and bronze dies during the manufacturing process to give the pasta a slightly rough surface.  This allows sauce and other ingredients to better adhere to the pasta when it is prepared and accentuate the flavor of the meal.
