Raj Rajaratnam Should Have Been On SCIE

Although the Rajaratnam incident involved legal wiretaps, it underlines the insecurity of conventional instruments for confidential communications; there is nothing more confidential than a criminal conspiracy. SCIE cannot be intercepted.

May 11, 2011 - PRLog -- The once high flying self-made billionaire and founder of the Galleon Hedge Fund,  Raj Rajaratnam was convicted today of five conspiracy counts and nine securities fraud charges. Prosecutors said Rajaratnam faces a maximum term of more than 19 years in prison.

The investigation into the dealings of Rajaratnam, and the many others caught because of telephone conversations, is significant due to it being the first time the FBI employed telephone wiretaps in a “white collar crime” investigation.

"You heard the defendant commit his crimes time and time again in his own words," Assistant U.S. Attorney Reed Brodsky said in closing arguments. "The tapes show he didn't believe the rules applied to him.Cheating became part of his business model."

The wiretaps appeared to play prominently in the jurors' deliberations. The defense had argued that the tapes revealed nothing more than that Rajaratnam was doing his duty by asking questions about information already circulating in the "real world" of high finance.

Although the Rajaratnam incident involved legal wiretaps, used in a criminal investigation, it underlines the insecurity of conventional instruments for confidential communications; there is nothing more confidential than a criminal conspiracy. But we are not implying that the Secure Client Information Exchange, SCIE, be used to obstruct criminal investigations, the use of the Rajaratnam case is only to emphasize how easily confidential conversations are intercepted. Telephone tapping, Fax and e-mail interception is considered “child’s play” by the so-called IT security firms; remember HB Gary.

SCIE is a highly secure & anonymous text based communications platform for confidential business conversations; that must remain confidential. SCIE is not just another secure email program: it’s not e-mail. SCIE has been developed over the course of five years, during which time it has been used by selective Swiss financial institutions

SCIE is not installed on your computer. It cannot be linked to a user or a user’s IP address. Communications cannot be intercepted; unlike e-mail. Communications cannot be subpoenaed.

SCIE gives back the right to business executives, to engage in confidential conversations without the fear of that conversation being resurrected and possibly misinterpreted years later.

“Business should be aware that corporate espionage is a growth industry” said Stella Smith, Quanta’s executive director adding, “the threat from inside the company is far greater than from the outside. During our SCIE sales presentation I ask the executives, how much do you pay your IT employees; they have access to everything you write? Confidential communications are worth a lot of money and easy to sell”.

Quanta Consulting Ltd. is a worldwide distributor of the SCIE System.

:"Read the SCIE and E-mail threat material on the sites pages and download the SCIE PDF brochure for further information" said Smith, "Also take time to view a few of the E-mail threat news report videos we linked to,  they are very informative about the insecurity of using E-mail, telephones and fax for confidential communications. Then contact Quanta about SCIE".

Ask Yourself Two Questions.

1. Does your company electronically Communicate Information that if Intercepted, Stolen or otherwise Leaked, will have a Negative Impact on your Business and its Profits?

2. Do you employ E-mail, Telephone or Fax to Discuss Proprietary and other Confidential Information?

If The Answer To Either Question Is Yes, You Need SCIE.
