By: Morris County Arts Workshop Some of the highlights included fencing, Lego creations, individual and group instrumentals, a Gleek performance, Rock Band and yoga demonstrations. Artwork and photography was also on display. “Our Showcases are a time for celebrating all that our students have accomplished during their session with MCAW,” explains Director Jane Shatz, who organizes the events in the fall and spring. MCAW’s celebration will continue on Sunday, June 5, 2011 during its annual Gala and Fundraiser Midsummer Night’s Dream . . . in the afternoon at the Flanders Valley Banquet in Flanders from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets are now available for this event with special guest comedian, actor and former Saturday Night Live cast member Jim Breuer. The event will showcase performances by students and teachers as well as a 50/50 raffle and silent auction items including free MCAW classes, local business gift baskets and certificates, artwork and so much more.
