10th May 2011:  SIMUL8 2011 is faster, more flexible and collaborative, enabling you to share your simulations with anyone, anywhere, anytime.  This extensive upgrade to SIMUL8 2010 provides a new interface, shared working environments and flexible 3D capabilities.  The software’s new web technology offers new online resources never seen before in the industry.

“There are extensive improvements to the software in this release, some large, some small.  From feedback we’ve had, the one our customers are most excited about is the improved 3D modeling capabilities,” says Head of Sales, Kenneth Doole.

SIMUL8 has offered 3D graphics and animation since 2005, but by extending our ‘drag&drop’ technology, we’ve made the 3D simulations as easy to build as 2D.  Now you can import directly from Google Warehouse, making it easy to access thousands of 3D images quickly.  You can even import whole backgrounds, creating life-like simulations in seconds, with no experience necessary!

Collaborative
The SIMUL8 Live passport gives you access to online tools, exclusively available through SIMUL8.  SIMUL8 Web Private Channels allows you to share simulations with clients and colleagues privately and securely – letting others make changes and see the results using only a web browser.  

You can also make use of secure, online project management, through SIMUL8 Connect.  Now you can access and manage your simulations anytime, anywhere.
