Two New Licensed Counselors Join The Blended and Step Family Resource Center

May 11, 2011 - PRLog -- The Blended and Step Family Resource Center in Charlotte, North Carolina welcomes two new licensed counselors this month of May. The team expansion is part of a continuing effort to better serve the growing number of blended and step families in the city and throughout the United States. Services are offered locally at the Charlotte office, and nationally via the center's website (http://www.theblendedandstepfamilyresourcecenter.com) and telephone.

Logan Campbell is a licensed professional, a licensed school counselor with a master's degree in counseling and education and an extensive experience in counseling high school students as well as children, teenagers and adults in various settings. Logan describes herself as “passionate about empowering families to create stable and successful lives together.” She conducts telephone and face-to-face coaching.

Sandra Staub is a licensed professional counselor with 11 years of experience in counseling teenagers, adults and families in Houston, Texas. Sandra is available for telephone coaching from New Orleans, Louisiana. Her work with couples and families are aimed to find solutions and  meanings to their struggles. Sandra says: “My goal in coaching is for our conversations to make a positive difference in your family.”

Sandra and Logan also draw from personal experiences with their own blended families. Shirley Cress Dudley, founder and director of the Blended and Step Family Resource Center, recognizes the need for licensed counselors with real personal experiences as members of blended families. Shirley is a step mom with a professional counselor license, a nationally certified counselor certificate, a master's degree in marriage and family counseling and a master's degree in education. On the expansion of her team, Shirley discloses: “I'm excited that we now have two more counselors available to help blended families.”

The Blended and Step Family Resource Center was founded in 2006 with the goal of making excellent and reliable resources available for encouraging, educating and empowering blended families. Webinars, podcasts, reader’s forum, free articles and monthly newsletters are available for step kids, step moms and step dads, and couples engaged to be married and become blended families.

Shirley Dudley, also internationally known as the author of "Blended Family Advice,”  has 20+ years of experience as a counselor and coach, and a conference speaker on marriage and family issues. She is a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
