May 11, 2011 - MANAHAWKIN, N.J.– The Walters Group team is gathering steam in preparation for the 11th annual Relay For Life event at Southern Regional High School in Manahawkin. This major fundraiser for the American Cancer Society begins with an opening ceremony scheduled for Friday, June 3, at 5 p.m.
Supporters can make donations to the Walters relay team either by purchasing a track sign for the night of the event; making an online donation at
http://main.acsevents.org/goto/waltershomes1 or sending checks or money orders made out to the American Cancer Society and mailed to the Walters Group, Attention: Terri Morelli, team captain, 500 Barnegat Blvd. North, Building #100, Barnegat, NJ 08005. Donations sent directly to Walters will be accepted until May 20, and online donations will be accepted until August 3.
Walters Group, a rapidly growing builder in southern New Jersey, is an active supporter of numerous community and philanthropic causes. Since 2004, Walters Group employees have been proactive in their support of this event. During last year’s Relay for Life, the team raised over $10,000 for the American Cancer Society.
