Poricy Park Conservancy Announces Clothing Drive

May 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Donate your used clothing, household items and more & Poricy Park will receive a donation for the total poundage collected!! Items can be dropped off during the drive on the 21st. However, if you are unable to drop off your items on Saturday, drop off will be accepted Monday, 5/16 to Friday 5/20, 9am-4pm at the Nature Center.

Items that can be donated include:
•   Usable & wearable clothing for all seasons (for men/women/children)
•   Shoes - please bag them separately
•   Household items made of fabric such as blankets, bed sheets, towels, curtains
•   Accessories such as pocketbooks, briefcases, ties, scarves, gloves
•   Hard toys which fit a box 24" x 24" x 21", bikes, stuffed animals

Please note the Park can no longer accept over-sized toys, strollers, high chairs, car seats, cribs, play centers, bouncers, walkers and swings. Items for donation should be placed in garbage bags and brought to the parking lot. All wearable clothing and accessories that are collected are sent to countries in need.
