After a lifetime based in Southern California, Al relocated to West Valley City, Utah in 2008, but has traveled and performed in 25 countries around the world and appeared on over 100 television shows including the Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson. He performed recurring roles on Days of Our Lives and appeared on the Rodney Dangerfield Comedy Special as well as on episodes of Columbo, Land of the Giants, Amazing Stories and many others. Al has performed at countless state and county fairs, on cruise ships, schools, theaters and corporate events and will be performing at fairs and libraries throughout Utah this summer. He is scheduled to perform his full-evening show at the Main Street Theater in Midvale, Utah, June 18th.
Al is president of the Salt Lake City Ring of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and secretary of the Orem Chapter of the Society of American Magicians and is a frequent performer at the world famous Hollywood Magic Castle. He has also written books on magic and lectured to magic clubs from California to Ohio.
Al say’s his shows are squeaky clean. “It’s harder to be clean and funny,” Al said, “But I try to keep my shows family oriented so no one is offended.” Al has entertained the Mormon Youth Symphony and Choir in Salt Lake City as well as at countless, LDS wards and Stakes. He will also perform his school assembly earlier the same day at Lincoln Elementary School in Hyrum. Al say’s he has performed at over 1,000 schools across
the country.
Al's performance is being hosted by the Cache Valley Conjurers and will last about 45 minutes. Following the performance he will give a special lecture for magicians, teaching his original repertoire.
