David Archuleta, Donny Osmond, and Daniel Bernhardt host Utah's 2011 Entertainment & Choice Awards

American Idol's David Archuleta, Matrix series co-star Daniel Bernhardt and Utah's very own Donny Osmond are only a few of the celebrities who will illuminate Utah's 2011 Entertainment & Choice Awards on May 20th in Salt Lake City.

The Entertainment and Choice Awards (ECA) sponsored by Alpine V, were created to spotlight those companies and individuals who have contributed to Utah's entertainment and business communities. Nominees will be honored from a variety of areas including film, television, radio, community contribution and athletics. It’s anticipated this black tie awards event will draw more than 1,200 influential attendees who share the same goal of contributing to and expanding Utah's entertainment and business infrastructure.

Notable guests include; college basketball star Jimmer Fredette, comedian Louie Anderson, former Governor Norm Bangerter, author Richard Paul Evans, theater and music star Debbie Gibson, So You Think You Can Dance stars, Ryan and Ashleigh DiLello, sports radio personality Melinda Prince, the Utah Jazz Bear, pro-racer Aaron Oliveraz, rap artist TJ Fredette, television news icon Dick Nourse and many more!

Considered the "Golden Globes" of Utah, the ECA show provides a unique spotlight of recognition for Utah’s entertainment industry and everyone is invited to attend this evening of dinner, comedy, music and red carpet awards event. Tickets are available at www.smithtix.com.

In keeping with Utah’s time honored commitment to service and benefiting the community, the ECA has partnered with the medical foundation Neuroworx (www.neuroworx.org); a company dedicated toward the research of spinal cord injuries. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will go to benefit Neuroworx's rehabilitation facility located in Sandy, Utah.
