Witness Both Performance & Style on Display in Carlisle PA

May 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Performance & Style is undoubtedly about tricked out tuners, stance euros, modern muscle and so much more; however, there is an elegance to each vehicle, no matter the make, model or design. On May 14-15 seven impressively unique rides will be showcased in Building T’s “Tuned in T” invitational display and on the Manufacturers Midway.


In November of 2010 six of the seven showcase vehicles debuted at the Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas while Fox Marketing’s 2011 Lexus CT200h recently debuted at the New York International Auto Show. Performance & Style will mark just the second time Fox’s ride has been seen publically. While each vehicle is distinct in its own way, they all share one common factor: Carlisle Performance & Style 2011!


Fox Marketing Lexus CT200h

The Fox Marketing Supercharged CT200h recently debuted in the Lexus booth at the New York Autoshow. Fox Marketing President Brian Fox had performance on his mind when building this market fresh Lexus compact hybrid. The car is fitted with an Eaton supercharger and Yonaka Air to Water Intercooler, the CT200 pushes close to 300 horse power. Aesthetics came at a close second with a totally revamped look including a massive but clean body kit as well as a rear diffuser and spoiler. The Carizzma Cinnamon Orange paint job completes the exterior with a look that is something you have to see in person!


Fox Marketing Lexus LS600h

Fox Marketing’s Lexus LS600h is like no other full-size luxury sedan out there. The Lexus rolls green in more ways than one! The LS debuted in the Lexus booth at SEMA 2010 helping showcase how to modify a hybrid vehicle. In addition to the hybrid-friendly “green” modifications, the LS sports BASF Glasurit 90 Line Glacier Green exterior paint with Stain Black detailing that flow perfectly with the 20-inch alloy Candy Copper wheels.


Mumbles Marketing 2011 Twin Turbo Chevrolet Camaro

Winner of the Best GM Vehicle Award at the 2010 SEMA Show, the Mumbles Marketing twin turbo/wide body Camaro was built by 2010 DUB Builder of the Year, Pete Colello. Pete and his team recently won Top 60 in show, Spectators Choice, Best Late Model and Outstanding ICE at the Buffalo, New York Motorama.


Mumbles Marketing 2011 Hyundai Equus

Debuted at SEMA 2010, a custom version of Hyundai’s newest luxury sedan, the VIP-themed “Elegant Equus” from Pete Colello and Mumbles Marketing was built to mix performance driving, advanced technologies and a VIP look that would be the envy of high-power executives. Performance was not only achieved but taken to the max with a Legacy Innovations/S-Max turbo kit and Magnaflow dual-exhaust system, bumping output to over 500whp. An Air Lift digital air suspension with extended air springs and struts complete the VIP stance look and not one but two Apple iPads, that control ride height, luxury curtains, stereo and windows are just the beginning of advanced technologies featured that make the Elegant Equus as comfortable as flying in a G6.


UTI/Tjin Edition 2011 Ford Fiesta

“Too much to list” is an understatement when it comes to listing all of the custom and aftermarket components to this one-of-a-kind 2011 Ford Fiesta from UTI and Tjin Edition. For the UTI/Tjin Edition 2011 Ford Fiesta build, which debuted at the 2010 SEMA Show, Neil Tjin and his team partnered with some of the top automotive manufacturers, including Air Lift Suspension, Baer brakes, FIVE:AD Wheels, YOKOHAMA Tires, DuPont Paint, Innovate Motorsports, Azentek, Image Dynamics, Optima Batteries, Scosche, Status Racing, Autometer, Trent’s Trick Upholstery, MagnaFlow Exhaust Products, Nitrous Express, Webasto Sunroofs, Ignited HID, Light WurkZ, StreetGlow, S.P.E.C, Royal Purple, 3dCarbon and Real AutoWorks.


Tjin Edition 2011 Ford Mustang GT 5.0

Tjin Edition along with Adam Carpenter from Unique Fabrication in Irvine, California teamed up with Vortech Superchargers, MagnaFlow Exhaust, American Racing Headers, Nitrous Express and Royal Purple to build a perfect example of a sport-functional, clean-looking yet fully-custom modern muscle car.


Kenny Vinces’ 1992 Honda EG Civic Hatchback

With over 200 trophies, Kenny’s ’92 Civic hatch, has been featured in eleven magazines (including six covers), TV and DVD features and in 2008 won the NCCA Best Honda in the Country award. After revamping the EG for two years with a fully-built K20Z1 engine, huge turbo, a load of rare JDM parts, right-hand drive conversion, BASF Carizzma Candy Gold exterior paint and much more. It was debuted at this year’s SEMA event and was a huge hit earning Top 10 honors.

Shawn Baker’s Scion Tuner 2011 Scion tC

The inspiration behind the 2010 Scion Tuner Challenge winning 2011Scion tC from Shawn Baker is that form follows function. Since Scion completely redesigned the tC for 2011, Shawn wanted to stay true to the car’s new look, only making moves that complemented the car. The focus of the project was on attention-to-detail and functional performance-based styling. Shawn is a huge fan of the clean look so he wanted to emphasize the things that he enjoys most out of building a custom car: unique colors/finishes, raw performance, and of course super aggressive stance.


Carlisle Performance & Style is more than a car show; P&S is a motorsports and lifestyle festival celebrating the hottest trends in the motorsports world. In addition, special guests will be on hand including 2010 Formula Drift Champion Vaughn Gittin Jr., legendary motorcycle stunt team, the StarBoyz, Best-of-Carlisle and Carlisle Elite top-flight cash prizes, a parked-by-class judged showfield, Modern Muscle Nationals, remote control drifting competitions, a Euro/Stance indoor invitational display presented by Low Life & Junk Style, The ICE House – displaying custom vehicles with a focus on in-car-entertainment, NICOFest autocross racing, the Manufacturers Midway and swap meet vending areas, and the famous Carlisle Burnout and Bikini contests.
