Hotline Serves Up Free Lawn & Garden Advice

This spring, homeowners hungry for yard care knowledge can turn to the Yard Smarts Hotline. Staffed by lawn, garden and equipment experts, the hotline is sponsored by Briggs & Stratton Corporation, which makes the engines that power eight out of the top 10 lawn mower brands in the United States.

Now through May 15, anyone can ask their yard care questions and get expert help. Just visit www.yardsmarts.com and click on the hotline icon to submit a question or call toll free at 1-866-YARD-TIPS (1-866-927-3847).

All hotline questions will be personally answered within 24 hours. On May 6 and 13, homeowners can speak directly with lawn, garden and equipment experts from 2 until 6 p.m. CT. Everyone who participates in the hotline by asking a question can also participate in a drawing to win a new lawn mower. T-shirts will also be given away randomly throughout the hotline.
