Evans Resource Group Names Ali Valdez Director of Sales Strategy and Operations

PRLog (Press Release) - May 5, 2011 - NEW YORK, NY — Evans Resource Group, Inc., a leading software solution and consulting company that specializes in testing and assessment of “message oriented middleware” (MOM) applications such as the IBM WebSphere® Communications Stack, has named Ali Valdez Director of Sales Strategy and Operations. Ms. Valdez will report to Evans Resource Group Managing Director, M. Ariel Evans.

An acknowledged industry leader in hi-tech sales and management with over twenty years of experience at world-class organizations such as Microsoft and Openwave Systems, Ms. Valdez brings a wealth of contacts and connections to Evans Resource Group (ERG) where she will focus her efforts on accelerating the Company’s “smart-growth” strategy within the middleware messaging security space. She will be primarily responsible for outlining and executing the Company’s sales strategy; developing ERG’s channel and sales teams; providing partner and customer training; and establishing long-term strategic relationships within the middleware industry.

Prior to joining Evans Resource Group, Ms. Valdez served in a number of executive sales and business development roles, consistently delivering double-digit sales growth and annual sales revenues of $100-$500 million U.S, in key markets throughout North America. She has successfully led world-class sales teams in the Financial Services, Telecommunications & Cable, Professional Services, and Healthcare industries, servicing some of the world’s largest, most strategic organizations including Cisco Systems, AT&T, T-Mobile, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, McKinsey & Company, Honeywell, and Citigroup. Prior to her sales career, she led intellectual property, copyrights & patents, and strategic partnership negotiations at SPRY, the Internet Division of CompuServe. Ms. Valdez holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Westmont College with additional studies at the State University of New York (SUNY) and the University of Arizona.
