Villeroy & Boch Selects Michael Swan To Lead Bath and Wellness For The Americas

(May 4, 2011) – Villeroy & Boch announced today that Michael Swan has been selected to lead the company’s Bath and Wellness division in the United States, Canada, Central and South America, and Mexico as its General Manager. Swan will relocate from Villeroy & Boch’s London offices to the U.S. headquarters in Monroe Township, N.J. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving all sales and marketing initiatives, as well as product development for the region. He will also continue in his current role as Global Head of the international project business division for the company.
   “Michael has spent more than 20 years with Villeroy & Boch. He has a true passion for the brand and a unique understanding of the wants and needs of our product partners, such as contractors, plumbers and specifiers,” said Andreas Pfeiffer, CEO of the Bath and Wellness division worldwide. “We believe his expertise and global outlook will serve the division very well.”   
   Swan will concentrate on a number of initiatives from the start, including making Villeroy & Boch a most desirable brand by introducing great product collections, offering excellent customer service and building strong and productive relationships with its partners.

During the past two decades Swan has held various bath and wellness positions within the company.  Most recently he has served, and will continue to lead, the Villeroy & Boch’s international project business division. He has also held various positions within the sanitary products and tiles divisions for Villeroy & Boch.
