May 5, 2011 - PRLog -- Widen Enterprises, a Madison, Wisconsin-based digital asset management software and premedia services company, announced today its service commitment to ten new customers signed during the first quarter of 2011. The diverse group of organizations chose Widen’s Web-based solutions for digital asset management (DAM) to better manage digital media investments, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure global brand consistency.

Colosseum Athletics, a recognized leader in the collegiate fashion apparel industry who manufactures licensed products for over 200 colleges and universities was among those who chose Widen’s DAM and premedia services to help achieve the full potential of their brands.

“Colosseum heard about Widen through one of our customers that specializes in Web-based retail. They raved about the image quality and ease of uploading new styles produced by another Widen customer. Not wanting to be outdone, Colosseum immediately contacted Widen to investigate what made their services so impressive,” said Joe Geismar, Director of Sales Planning & Licensing at Colosseum Athletics. “We are already impressed by Widen’s customer service and ability to highlight the uniqueness of our products. Just the mention of upgrading our digital image platform has generated increased bookings for our upcoming lines.”

Other new Widen clients include:

Altra Industrial Motion – A leading designer, producer and marketer of mechanical power transmission products.

UN WOMEN – The United Nations’ entity for gender equality and the empowerment of women.

Webroot Software – The first Internet security service company.

Altra Industrial Motion is currently in the process of implementing the Widen Digital Asset Management system.

“Our company was looking for a way to streamline image sharing among the Corporate Marketing/Advertising department, global facilities and sales staff for 20 different brands, and multiple external vendors,” said Inese Hoover, Manager of eMarketing & Communications. The Widen online interface offers a user-friendly tool to access the contents of the Altra digital asset library from any location. We are excited to introduce this new system to our users!”

“We look forward to putting the Widen DAM service to work for these organizations, and we’re excited to see how their resources, know-how and creativity are amplified by our services,” said Widen Marketing Manager Jake Athey. “Whether they’re empowering women the world over or serving up fresh chicken and made-from-scratch biscuits, what all of these organizations sought was a better way to manage brand compliance, improve efficiency and maximize the impact of their marketing and customer relations operations—even as their digital asset libraries grow rapidly. We know the Widen DAM service will be an integral part of achieving that.”
