May 4, 2011 - PRLog -- On Thursday, May 12, Keller Williams Realty Plano is sending a team of 60 Realtors to the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County (CACCC) in honor of their 3rd annual RED Day.

RED Day (renew, energize and donate) is an initiative dedicated to celebrating Keller Williams Realty’s year-round commitment to improving their local communities. Each year, on the second Thursday in May, tens of thousands of associates from across the United States and Canada participate in a wide range of projects, devoting their time to renewing and energizing aspects of the neighborhoods in which they serve.

In appreciation to Keller Williams Realty Plano for their service supporting the CACCC, Plano Mayor, Phil Dyer will personally welcome and thank the volunteers for their impact as they arrive. Mayor Dyer says, “Great corporate citizenship is one of the things that makes Plano such a wonderful place.  I want to thank the generous people from Keller Williams for their service supporting the remarkable work of the Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County."

The team of volunteers will work on projects such as trimming the Center’s bushes and repainting the fire lanes. Vickie Stilley, volunteer coordinator for the CACCC tells, “We would not be able to offer the children of Collin County the level of care we do if it was not for dedicated volunteers, like this team from Keller Williams Realty Plano.”
The Keller Williams Realty Plano team will also host a cookout that afternoon for the 250 professionals who office out of the Children’s Advocacy Center to thank them providing a voice for the children in our community.

Marcia Levine, chairman of this year’s RED Day says, “One of the great things about our company is our culture. How many companies can say that they set aside an entire day to focus on giving back to their community? We are happy to be focusing on the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County this year. They are the voice for our children.”
