Scissor lift for Central Station Brisbane

PRLog (Press Release) - May 4, 2011 - Queensland Railway who operate Brisbane Central Train Station had a requirement for a scissor table that could unload a variety of truck types and take rubbish bins from the upper dock level to ground level. The loading dock of the Central railway station is on a suspended slab so a conventional scissor table in a pit was not a viable option. Leda Security designed a scissor table with a lowered height of only 50mm. This scissor table has a capacity of 2000kg and table size of 2300mm x 3000mm.

A new range of 85mm lowered height tables have also been developed which have a capacity of 4000kg and include a hydraulic loadlip and personnel barrier. These scissor tables are designed to service most standard trucks and have the advantage of not requiring a pit.
