Exhibition of Sculpture and Painting

Lifeforms and Abstractions, the work of artist Donald Kolberg on view in Albany Ga. Reception May 12 6pm.

May 3, 2011 - PRLog -- Steel Mesh Sculptures depicting the form and movement of the human body  from Donald Kolberg's series Lifeforms will be on view at the Historic Carnegie Library at 215 North Jackson Street in Albany Ga. Additionally the recent Deconstructed Landscape paintings will be displayed for the first time. This work reflects Donald's exploration into reducing the elements of landscapes physical form and color into exciting abstractions that flow across a canvas. Additional works can be seen at www.donaldkolberg.com and at the Parker Art Gallery in St Simons Island Ga
Mr. Kolberg's work has been seen internationally and collected throughout the United States. Recently he has been invited to have works of his included in an upcoming book    "Recycled Glass Sculpture and Design" by Cindy Ann Coldiron, published by Schiffer Publishing."

The exhibition will be on view through May 31 and a reception for the artist will be held on May 12 at 6 pm.
