May 3, 2011 - PRLog -- Discover your sea legs this summer with the youth maritime charity UKSA which is offering a series of exciting and highly accessible watersports activity breaks for families, kids and youth groups on its waterside campus.

The Cowes based training Academy has designed a extensive range of multi-activity Fun Camps, watersports and dinghy sailing courses to suit all ages, abilities and pockets. And there is a five per cent discount for returning customers and those making multiple bookings too.

Giving the kids their first taste of sailing, kayaking or windsurfing couldn’t be simpler. UKSA has all the latest kit, expert professional instructors, a large fleet and a safe and friendly environment in which to learn and master a hobby.

Sailing and watersports on offer this spring and summer:

Monday, May 30 to Friday, June, 3

Five day courses including Dinghy Start, Dinghy Improver and Dinghy Advanced. Suitable for eight to 16-year-olds who want to learn to sail and become a confident crew member.

Prices - £395 per person residential, £335 pp non-residential. Five per cent discount for multiple bookings.

Spring Half Term Fun Camps

Multi-activity watersports programmes are now available for either one or up to five days, to suit all ages and budgets.

Prices for 5 days - £360 per person residential, £300 pp non-residential. Five per cent discount on multiple bookings.

UKSA Summer Camps

Seven fun packed days of dinghy sailing, kayaking, keelboating and raft-building. These recreational camps are a great way for children, aged 8 to 16, to familiarise themselves with being on and around the water safely and to master new interests and skills which will benefit their health, outlook and maybe even steer them towards a new career. The fun doesn’t stop at the end of the day as the evenings are crammed with social activities such as pool games, in-house cinema, crabbing, beach games and disco.

Summer Sailing in the UK

For families and adults there are a range of dinghy sailing and watersports courses throughout the summer, including the provision of RYA/PYA basic and advanced courses in the use of personal watercraft such as jetskis.

Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week – August 6 – 13 2011

UKSA is offering Try Sailing sessions at just £5 per head per hour throughout the week during the world’s most famous regatta. Booking daily via the UKSA tent which is sited on the Cowes Week Parade.
