Relishing A Great Opportunity For Bilco

May 3, 2011 - PRLog -- “Great people, great products, great opportunity!” That’s how Mark Baird feels about his appointment as sales and marketing manager at Bilco UK/Europe.

Mark brings 25 years’ experience in sales and management, including 14 years in construction-related roles, to Bilco (www.bilcouk.com), the roof hatch, smoke vent and access equipment supplier based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

He joins from Construction Skills where he worked with the National Construction College in developing and managing a sales function at the college comprising key account managers and telesales teams.

Previously Mark was with Finnforest, a multinational engineered wood products manufacturer, where as marketing controller he was responsible for developing and implementing the UK marketing programme. He also supported marketing activities overseas.

Earlier in his career Mark had spells at Berol (part of the US Newell Corporation) where he managed regional sales teams, with the Express Foods Group as product group manager and at Safeway which he joined after graduating with honours in Marketing and Administration.

“I’m delighted to join Bilco UK at such an exciting time for the company,” said Mark.
