Fremont Ford and Local Community to Raise as much as $6,000 for Newaygo High School

April 29, 2011 - PRLog -- Newaygo, MI – Fremont Ford is bringing Ford Motor Company’s innovative Drive One 4 UR School program to the Newaygo community in an effort to raise up to $6,000 for Newaygo High School. For every person who test-drives a Ford vehicle at Newaygo High School on April 30, Fremont Ford and Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to the Newaygo High School football and softball teams.

“We know how important extracurricular activities are to our high school students, and as part of this community, we want to help,” said Randy Mcdonald, Dealer at Fremont Ford. “This is why we’re excited to raise money for the football and softball teams, meanwhile introducing parents, teenagers and other drivers to our high-quality lineup and innovative safety technologies.” The event, which will be held from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, will feature the Ford Explorer, Focus, Fiesta, Edge, F-150, Mustang or other available models.

Since the start of Ford’s Drive One 4 UR School program in 2007, more than 275,000 test-drives at more than 1,500 events have generated over $5 million in donations for high schools nationwide. Locally, Fremont Ford is participating in their first Ford Drive One 4 UR School event and is excited to raise up to $6,000 for Newaygo High School.

To participate, please visit Newaygo High School between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm on April 30.

Participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license. There is a limit of one test-drive per household.
