He is widely recognized as an expert and innovator in the field of long-term care.

Mr. Moses and aging, disability, home healthcare, legal, and veteran caregiving experts will be available during the conference.

Attendees of the Minneapolis Fearless Caregiver Conference on May 19th will also have the unique opportunity to spend time with the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA) “Quilt to Remember” display during the daylong Fearless Caregiver Conference in the Twin Cities.

The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America Quilt to Remember is the nation’s first grand-scale dementia-related quilt that pays tribute to those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. AFA announced the AFA Quilt to Remember project in late 2005 and the collection now includes more than 100 panels.

“The goals of the heartfelt initiative include educating the public about the disease and speaking for those who can no longer speak for themselves,” said Eric J. Hall, Alzheimer’s Foundation of America’s president and chief executive officer.  “Together, this inspirational collection represents a united effort to highlight the Alzheimer’s disease crisis and drive home the need for additional resources for care for millions of families across America and for a cure.”

Gary Barg is the event host and moderator. A noted speaker, writer and publisher on caregiving issues since 1995, Gary Barg is founder and editor-in-chief of the first national magazine for caregivers, Today’s Caregiver, as well the original online caregiver community, caregiver.com. This will mark the 106th Fearless Caregiver Conference that Mr. Barg has hosted.
