Julian Stephen Influenced early on by artists such as Mase, Will Smith and Eminem, Julian has the versatility musically to walk the very thin line between lyrical recognition and crossover appeal. He's able to bang out records such as Royalty in which he exhibits his double time flow over rapid fire drums and electric guitars, but can also make a record that screams mainstream appeal such as Cheerleader, a light mood, hard drum affair with a catchy hook. Both records off his previous project, The University of Julian released early November 2010. Also just like one of his early inspirations, Julian is a multi-faceted entity, balancing his musical efforts with an online sitcom, Alien N' Kick and online reality series based off his first mixtape, The University of Julian. His forthcoming project, Prince Charming, shows an increased level of lyrical depth, content, and enhanced songwriting. Providing the sonic backdrop for the tape, featuring all original material, are producers Anthony Kilhoffer (producer of Kid Cudi’s “MANIAC” off Man On The Moon 2, as well as recording and mixing credits off of Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted), Speakerbomb of LA Riot Music (producer of Freddie Gibbs’ “National Anthem” record), Justin Rose (frequent producer for Mickey Factz), G-Whizz, (producer for Fred The Godson), Andrew Lloyd, (who's produced records on Mac Miller’s KIDS and Young Jeezy’s Trap Or Die 2) as well as Willie Bones, Andre Rockwell, Blacksmith Beats, and Anamate.
