New tool reminds users of their bookmarked daily deals

April 28, 2011 - PRLog -- With more and more customers finding themselves strapped for cash, collating deals and discounts online have become a hot growth industry - but with so much information to get through, the search for the perfect deal can turn into a chore. Many people just do not have the time to browse and remember everything on offer. To help out, Coupobox has created a new feature to make sure consumers never miss a chance to save.

For those who have not yet heard of Coupobox, the concept is simple:  a daily deal search engine that helps you find the best deals according to your preferences. But analysis shows that sometimes consumers want to take their time before committing to a deal - especially with deals that still cost a sizeable amount of money, or require them to check their schedule, such as offers on flights or hotels. They then risk forgetting the deal, missing a great opportunity, and ending up disappointed.

“We conducted research involving about 5000 people,” says Alex, one of the founders of Coupobox, “and 67% mentioned that they miss out on the first opportunity to get a deal, and are only reminded through social media. It is important to get to the point where consumers can bookmark a great offer and have a reminder in place for later.”

Therefore Coupobox has developed a service called  Remind Me. Every deal now has a Remind Me button - so you can add your e-mail address, select a time for your reminder, and get on with your day. Coupobox then saves the reminder and sends it back to you at a specified time - so you will never miss a deal again.
