Sevenoaks girl wins competition to re-design her car

PRLog (Press Release) - Apr. 28, 2011 - A competition to design a decal for your car, run by signage and display specialists, Creative FX, has been won by 18 year old, Georgia Marsh from Sevenoaks.

Winner Georgia, who is a student, has designed this black and white chequered pattern herself, and it has now been applied to her prized Fiat 500 using a removable vinyl wrap.  She is very pleased with the outcome: “It was a great surprise as my Nan entered me in to the competition,” she says.  “I love my new car.  It’s difficult to tell where the paint stops and the vinyl begins – it’s great!”

Vinyl wraps are the latest trend in vehicle customisation and Georgia follows a long line of celebrities, including Wayne Rooney, in having her car ‘wrapped.’  Creative FX Director, Chris Pook, pictured with Georgia, says: “Vehicle wrapping has really taken off.  Things have come a long way since the days of go-faster stripes; now you can have your whole car wrapped if you want, and in anything from solid colour, to hand drawn designs, to photographs.”

The competition was run in conjunction with a recent vehicle wrapping exhibition and demonstration at Bluewater shopping centre.  Over 200 shoppers, eager to participate in the latest celebrity trend, entered the draw.  Georgia’s name was drawn at random.
