Tweed Restaurant and Bar is now Home and Host to a Weekly Saturday Brunch Party

April 26, 2011 - PRLog -- Starting April 23rd, 2011 Tweed began offering a brunch on Saturdays from 12pm to 5pm.  They restaurant has teamed up with Ryan Dorsey and partners of “3 Nerds”, L.L.C. to bring in NYC DJ’s to play all the biggest club hits while executive chef David Cunningham servers some of his finest brunch creations.


The first event was a major success and the duo plan on continuing this weekly party every Saturday.  The menu consists of night club style bottle service favorites with brunch style twists.  The bottle service menu for champagne has all kinds of blini and mimosa options, while vodka bottle selections include a house made bloody mary mix with fresh cut celery sticks.  The food menu has people raving about the “Philly Cheesesteak Omelet”,  mixed berry smothered french toast and pancakes as well as a delicious trio of breakfast sliders.

Owner Edward Bianchini says “This is a weekly event that Philly needed.  I am so happy to see all these great people having fun, listening to great music and eating wonderful food.  This is what I would call a great day party.  A perfect place to start your perfect Saturday with a group of friends.”  Edward Bianchini is a Philadelphia native that lived in the south of France for over 28 years as a restauranteur. “I have seen these types of brunch parties in other countries and in other major U.S. cities and seeing this great formula of fun come to Philly, really makes me happy.”

Ryan Dorsey stated that, “There are a ton of cool and great people in the Philadelphia and surrounding area that appreciate good food, good music and fun.  We are just providing a great concept at a great venue for these people to enjoy.  This is where I want to be on a Saturday morning after a long work week.”
