April 26, 2011 - PRLog -- Wailing Dunes represents the author's own excursion through the African experience. Based largely on fables told by his Grandmother of African tribes and traditions, the fables incited the author to investigate the validity of the legends.

The passion inculcated in him challenged his way of looking at life. Thus commenced the journey to search and conduct research to verify the tales. After consulting and questioning many reliable sources, the author arrived at this anthology.

The author laments the loss of the Spirit of Oneness - Umoja, that frequently pervaded the fables. It was prevalent amongst the sacred tribes of Africa, and he hopes Wailing Dunes will inspire Africans to rekindle the dynamic Spirit of Umoja that could serve as the beacon of the Great African Renaissance.
