The first Ottawa chapter event will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at the Ottawa Public Library, Main Branch. The theme of the event will be “E-Discovery:
“We're very supportive of our current and prospective members in the Ottawa/Gatineau region,” says Winnie Tsang, President of the Toronto First Canadian Chapter. “We're pleased to work with the Ottawa planning committee to help make this inaugural event a success, and build a strong foundation for activities over the remainder of 2011 and into 2012.”
AIIM is excited to see our Canadian membership expand, particularly as we embark on a new phase of our association mission," says John Mancini, President of AIIM. "Networking, user-focused research, training and focused events are the most effective ways to educate the information management community, and events such as this May 12th E-Discovery Panel in Ottawa help fulfill this mission."
